Notice of the State Taxation Bureau on Exempting and Reducing Stamp Tax on Foreign-Related Insurance Business Documents

This notice temporarily exempts stamp tax on certain foreign-related insurance documents, including import/export cargo transport insurance, ocean-going vessel insurance, and export credit insurance policies of the People's Insurance Company of China, as well as reinsurance documents with foreign insurers, until December 31, 1990. Other foreign-related insurance documents remain subject to stamp tax as per regulations.
