This notice confirms that the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) has succeeded the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and will continue to apply the bilateral tax treaty signed in 1988, allowing residents of the FRY to enjoy the same treatment under the agreement on avoidance of double taxation.

各省、自治区、直辖市税务局，各计划单列市税务局，海洋石油税务管理局各分局:<br> 原南斯拉夫社会主义联邦共和国于1992年4月27日改为南斯拉夫联盟共和国（以下简称“南联盟”），该联盟共和国由塞尔维亚和黑山共和国组成。南联盟已表示将继承原南斯拉夫在国际法上的主体地位，严格遵守和履行原南在双边关系中所签署的条约和协议所规定的权利和义务，并将此正式通报我国外交部。据此，根据对等原则，南联盟的居民可以享受1988年12月2日在北京签署的原南斯拉夫社会主义联邦共和国议会联邦执行委员会和中华人民共和国政府关于对所得和财产避免双重征税协定的待遇。<br> 特此通知，请遵照执行。
