Announcement of the National Immigration Administration on Implementing the 144-Hour Visa-Free Policy for Foreign Tourist Groups from Hong Kong and Macao Entering Hainan

This document announces a new policy allowing citizens of countries with diplomatic relations with China, who hold ordinary passports and are in Hong Kong or Macao, to enter Hainan as part of a tourist group (2 or more persons) without a visa for up to 144 hours. The policy takes effect from the date of publication and applies to all open ports in Hainan Province.
