2026年6月11日凌晨1时40分许，兴安县兴安镇灵湘路发生一起爆炸事件。事件发生后，桂林市、兴安县两级党委、政府主要领导组织公安、消防、卫健、应急等部门开展救援、处置工作。经4轮现场搜救，目前事件造成7人死亡，17名伤者已送医院救治，均无生命危险。其他轻受伤人员经医院处置后已妥善安置。现场救援工作仍在进行中。经初步调查，排除爆炸是因管道燃气等因素引起，公安机关正在对事件原因开展进一步调查。
