A joint study led by Xuanwu Hospital and domestic brain science institutions achieved a breakthrough in treating late-stage severe spinal cord injury using a combination of brain-computer interface, spinal cord electrical stimulation, and exoskeleton. The first patient implanted with the 'Beinao No.1' invasive BCI system showed neurological improvement from complete to incomplete spinal cord injury after one year.

5月19日,由首都医科大学宣武医院院长赵国光、主任医师段婉茹领衔的团队联合国内脑科学研究机构开展的“脑机接口+脊髓电刺激+外骨骼”联合治疗晚期严重脊髓损伤研究,迎来重要突破。首例植入“北脑1号”侵入式脑机接口与时序脊髓电刺激系统的晚期截瘫患者在接受联合手术及创新性阶梯康复后满1周年时,经临床医学评估证实,该患者的神经功能已成功由术前的完全性脊髓损伤跨越至不完全性脊髓损伤。目前,患者不仅可在床上完成自主移动,更可在支具及外骨骼系统的辅助下进行踢腿、负重扔接球等强化训练并实现辅助下行走。<br> 记者:鲍赫、侠克<br> 新华社音视频部制作
