Hangzhou has implemented China's first local regulation on embodied intelligent robots, the 'Hangzhou Regulations on Promoting the Development of the Embodied Intelligent Robot Industry', which took effect on May 1. The city hosts over 700 robotics-related enterprises, with the industry cluster output reaching 106.8 billion yuan in 2025.
