7月13日上午，广州市政府与中国中铁股份有限公司（简称中国中铁）签署战略合作协议。广州市委书记林克庆，市长郭永航，市委常委、市委秘书长边立明，中国中铁董事长陈云、副总裁刘宝龙共同见证协议签署。广州市副市长陈杰、中国中铁副总裁李新生代表双方签署协议。 根据合作协议，双方按照优势互补、平等磋商、依法合规的原则，建立长期战略合作关系，在轨道交通、城市更新、市政交通基础设施、生态环保、总部经济、国有企业改革等重点领域开展深度合作，实现互利共赢。
