近日，中共揭阳市委召开民主协商会，就拟向市七届人大四次会议和市政协七届三次会议推荐的有关候选人人选，向市各民主党派、工商联、无党派代表人士和人民团体负责人通报情况、听取意见、酝酿协商。 会上，市委副书记、组织部部长王绍乐就候选人人选提名情况作了说明。在民主和谐的气氛中，与会人士进行了认真协商，充分发表意见，取得了共识，一致赞成有关候选人人选。 市委常委、统战部部长姚丽璇主持会议，市领导秦雯、吴少珍、陈锐彬、柯东风以及市直有关方面负责同志出席会议。
