This document reports on a ceremony marking the first anniversary of the State Council's approval of the overall plan for the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, during which 54 projects broke ground with investments of about 101.7 billion yuan, 66 projects were signed with investments of about 113.7 billion yuan, and 14 financing projects provided 140.5 billion yuan in policy loans.

9月8日下午，中新广州知识城落实国务院总规批复一周年重大项目集中动工签约活动举行。广州市市长温国辉，市委常委、广州开发区管委会主任周亚伟出席活动。 此次动工签约的重大项目涵盖总部经济、生物医药、新一代信息技术及基础配套等领域。其中，动工项目54个，投资总额约1017亿元；签约项目66个，总投资约1137亿元；融资项目14个，共提供政策性贷款融资支持1405亿元。 2020年8月，《中新广州知识城总体发展规划（2020—2035年）》获国务院批复，知识城迎来重大发展机遇。一年来，知识城共有91个项目动工建设，75个项目竣工试投产，目前在建项目达142个。知识城布点重大知识经济项目，完成固定资产投资总额超700亿元，正加速打造成为具有全球影响力的国家知识中心。
