This notice announces the schedule and procedures for a test of air defense warning sirens in designated districts of Zhongshan City, in accordance with the Civil Air Defense Law of the People's Republic of China, and confirms that normal activities will continue during the test.

为贯彻落实《中华人民共和国人民防空法》，检验我市防空警报系统的性能和效果，使广大市民了解、熟悉防空警报信号规定，增强国防观念和人防意识，市政府决定进行防空警报试鸣，现就有关事项通告如下： 一、防空警报试鸣时间定于2008年11月19日（星期三）上午10时00分至10时15分，地点在本市火炬开发区、石岐区、东区、南区、西区、五桂山。 二、预先警报：试鸣时间为10时00分至03分。方式为三长声，鸣36秒，停24秒，持续3分钟。 三、空袭警报：试鸣时间为10时06分至09分。方式为连续短声，鸣6秒，停6秒，持续3分钟。 四、解除警报：试鸣时间为10时12分至15分。方式为一长声，持续3分钟。 五、防空警报试鸣期间，全市生产、学习、生活及一切社会活动照常进行。二○○八年十月二十九日
