10月23日上午，广州市举行政府参事聘任活动。市长温国辉向新聘、续聘的参事颁发聘书。 据悉，此次市政府新聘王志雄等5名参事，续聘古石阳等6名参事，参事总数达28名。根据有关文件规定，市政府参事主要聘任有较强的参政咨询能力、能独立完成参事建议和调研报告的社会知名人士。历届政府参事充分利用自身专长，在参政议政、建言献策、民主监督等方面发挥了重要作用。 市政府在任参事、新聘（续聘）参事及其所在单位代表参加活动。
