为弘扬中华民族传统美德，营造关爱老年人社会氛围，14日上午，副市长姚丽璇带队开展敬老月走访慰问活动，为高龄、空巢、失能、困难等老年人送去党和政府的关怀和温暖。 活动中，慰问团分别到市聚龙湾护理院和榕城区东阳街道东山村、蓝和村，慰问集中供养老年人、百岁老人、特困老人，同他们深入交谈，了解他们的生活起居、身体状况等，并向他们送上慰问金和慰问品。老人们由衷感谢市委、市政府长期以来的关心照顾，让他们切切实实地感受到党和政府的关爱。 慰问团要求，各级民政部门要继续关爱高龄、空巢、失能、困难等老年人，让他们充分感受到党和政府的温暖；要充分发挥养老服务机构的积极作用，依法扩大规模和服务范围，进一步满足老年人的养老服务需求，让广大老年人老有所养、老有所依、老有所乐、老有所安。
