（2009年9月14日）今年第15号台风“巨爵”将于15日凌晨在台山市北陡镇沿海登陆，登陆时最大风力35米\/秒（12级）。新区三防指挥部于14日8时10分发布台风蓝色预警信号、启动IV级防风应急响应。受热带风暴影响，从9月14日18时起新区风力将逐渐增大，风力5-6级，阵风7级。
