This notice mandates a temporary closure of all poultry wholesale markets and poultry trading areas in agricultural markets in Guangzhou from February 15 to February 28, 2014, to prevent the spread of H7N9 avian influenza. During the closure, all poultry trading is prohibited and no poultry may be stored on site.

穗府〔2014〕5号广州市人民政府关于禽类批发市场和农贸(肉菜)市场禽类交易区实行短期休市的通告 为进一步加强人感染H7N9禽流感防控工作，最大程度减少市民对禽类的接触，降低H7N9禽流感病毒感染风险，防止疫情扩散，根据《中华人民共和国传染病防治法》、《中华人民共和国突发事件应对法》、《突发公共卫生事件应急条例》有关规定，以及省、市人感染H7N9禽流感防控专家组意见，定于2014年2月15日至2月28日，全市禽类批发市场和农贸(肉菜)市场禽类交易区实行休市。休市期间，市场停止一切禽类交易，市场内不得存放任何禽类。 广州市人民政府2014年2月13日 公开方式：主动公开
