2月2日，副省长林涛率队到韶关市、清远市调研春运及低温冰冻天气应急保障工作，实地察看了乐广（京珠北）监控中心、乐广高速梅花北服务区和国家区域性公路交通应急装备物资储备中心。 林涛强调，要深入践行以人民为中心的发展思想，高标准、高质量、严要求做好春运各项工作，打造平安、畅顺、快捷、温馨春运。要压实责任，属地政府、交通、交警要联合成立工作组，强化协调配合、联勤联动，做好路网疏堵保畅工作。要加强监测预警和调度指挥，落实值班值守，加强应急运力和物资储备，做好极端天气的春运保障。要健全春运应急预案，加强交通应急队伍能力建设和应急设备检查，确保发生突发情况能第一时间发挥作用。要切实抓好安全生产，深入开展风险隐患排查整治和安全监管，保障道路交通安全。
