2月7日，省委常委叶贞琴率省有关部门到惠州市检查指导农村疫情防控工作，深入龙门县龙田镇旧梁村、邬村，龙城街道鸬鹚村，实地察看农村疫情防控措施落实、返乡人员服务管理等情况。 叶贞琴强调，农村地区是疫情防控的重点区域、关键环节，各地各部门要进一步绷紧疫情防控这根弦，主动担当作为，严格落实各项防控措施，严密做好农村疫情监测、排查、防控等工作，严防死守、不留死角。要加强农村防疫物资、生活生产物资保障，做好返乡人员服务管理，广泛开展宣传教育，提高村民的防控意识和行动自觉，引导村民尽量减少人员流动和聚集，将工作做细做实做到每家每户，让人民群众安心安全过好年。 叶贞琴还调研了春耕备耕、现代农业产业园建设、农村宅基地管理、农村风貌提升等工作。
