The Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Supreme People's Court have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a mechanism for sharing marriage registration information and case information related to marriage disputes, aiming to improve the national marriage registration database and facilitate judicial inquiries.

近日，民政部和最高人民法院正式签署《关于开展部门间信息共享的合作备忘录》，建立当事人婚姻登记信息和涉婚姻案由的案件信息的共享机制。<br> 最高法将通过网络专线将人民法院判决、裁定或调解的涉及暴力干涉婚姻自由罪、重婚罪、婚姻自主权纠纷、离婚纠纷、婚姻无效纠纷等案由的已结案件信息及时交换至民政部，完善民政部全国婚姻登记信息数据库。人民法院也可通过案件当事人的身份号码到民政部全国婚姻登记信息数据库中查询婚姻登记信息。今后，民政部门办理婚姻登记时，可直接通过婚姻登记管理信息系统查询涉婚姻案由案件中的当事人信息。（记者潘跃）
