据媒体此前报道，近日，有市民反馈，在广州越秀区环市中路电视塔公交站候车时，发现高架桥底出现大量细长裂缝。一位桥梁专家表示，初步来看，由于裂缝不属于受力裂缝，对桥梁的安全不会造成直接影响。

广州市交通运输局4月21日通过官方微博发布《情况核查通报》：

收到网络反映内环路电视台处的高架桥疑似裂缝情况后，市道路事务中心当即组织专业检测机构和养护单位现场检查。经核查，反映的“裂缝”位置实为桥梁小箱梁之间现浇钢筋混凝土的湿接缝，因湿接缝和梁体交接位置浇筑存在高差，从下方远距离观看时会产生“疑似裂缝”的现象，实际并非裂缝。“疑似裂缝”为浇筑湿接缝时的水泥浆和封闭用的泡沫胶从模板缝隙渗出的黑色凝结物，属正常现象。沿现浇段纵向分布圆孔，实为模板支撑点位。经检测，该处桥梁结构安全，不影响使用。
