NDRC Releases 2026 Second Batch of Major National Strategy and Security Capacity Building Project List

The National Development and Reform Commission, together with relevant departments, has issued the second batch of project lists for major national strategy and security capacity building in 2026, allocating 216.8 billion yuan in ultra-long-term special treasury bonds to support 336 major projects. The projects cover key areas such as artificial intelligence, urban underground pipeline network renovation, transportation infrastructure in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, high-standard farmland, higher education quality improvement, and the Three-North Shelterbelt Program.
