The National Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) has issued a notice requiring all online platforms to prohibit content related to the harvesting and sale of rare and endangered wild plants listed in the National Key Protected Plant List, and to conduct self-inspections and removals of such information. The CAC will organize local authorities to carry out centralized enforcement actions, imposing severe penalties on violators.

一段时间以来，一些商家借助网络平台公开售卖珍稀濒危野生植物，一些网站平台公开直播盗采、乱采滥挖，传播售卖珍稀濒危野生植物信息，影响恶劣。为切实遏制网上售卖珍稀濒危野生植物行为，近日，国家网信办发出通知要求各网站平台不得发布《国家重点保护植物名录》内的珍稀濒危野生植物的采挖、销售等内容，全面自查清理相关信息。据初步统计，部分网站平台已自行下架相关商品400余件，清理相关视频3000余个。<br> 国家网信办有关业务局负责人表示，即日起，国家网信办将组织各地网信部门会同属地相关部门进行集中整治，进一步聚焦突出问题，压实主体责任，加大惩治力度，对问题严重、影响恶劣的网站平台、网络账号及相关责任人依法依规严肃查处，并向社会公众通报处置结果。同时，欢迎广大网民、媒体和社会各界积极参与，向网站平台和有关部门举报相关问题，共同营造清朗网络空间。
