据微信公众号“中国航天科技集团”消息，4月7日21时32分，长征八号运载火箭在海南商业航天发射场点火起飞，随后将千帆星座第七批组网卫星送入预定轨道，发射任务取得圆满成功。

长征八号运载火箭由中国航天科技集团有限公司一院抓总研制。作为长八系列火箭的一员，该型火箭与长八甲火箭共同形成了太阳同步轨道5吨、7吨级的运载能力梯队。执行本次任务的长八火箭采用的是捆绑两个助推器的基本构型。

今年，长八系列火箭将开启高密度发射模式，持续助推我国低轨卫星互联网星座建设和商业航天高质量发展。本次任务大幅缩短了测发流程，提升了测发效率，为后续高密度发射任务的开展提供了有力支撑。
