The International Energy Agency (IEA) Director warns that the oil and gas crisis triggered by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is unprecedented, surpassing the combined severity of the 1973, 1979, and 2022 energy crises. The IEA has announced a coordinated release of 400 million barrels of strategic petroleum reserves by its 32 member countries.

“世界从未经历过如此大规模的能源供应中断，”比罗尔说，我们正面临一场巨大的能源冲击，它融合了石油冲击、天然气冲击和粮食冲击。

比罗尔警告说，欧洲国家和日本、澳大利亚等都会遭受损失，但面临最大风险的是发展中国家，它们将面临更高的油气价格、更高的食品价格，以及整体通胀加速。
