This decision amends Article 24, Paragraph 3 of the existing regulations to provide preferential treatment in college entrance examinations for children of martyrs who died due to righteous and courageous acts, in accordance with national and provincial provisions.

《黑龙江省人民政府关于修改〈黑龙江省见义勇为人员奖励和保护规定〉的决定》已经2015年5月22日省政府第45次常务会议通过，现予公布，自公布之日起施行。省长 陆昊2015年6月4日黑龙江省人民政府关于修改《黑龙江省见义勇为人员奖励和保护规定》的决定 黑龙江省人民政府决定对《黑龙江省见义勇为人员奖励和保护规定》作如下修改： 将第二十四条第三款修改为：“因见义勇为牺牲被评定为烈士的人员子女，高考时按照国家和省有关规定给予照顾”。 本决定自公布之日起施行。
