On June 1, 2021, the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) amended the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) by adding 8 entities from Pakistan and the UAE to the Entity List, modifying and removing others, and updating the Military End-User (MEU) list including one Chinese entity.
