Denmark Amends Export Control Law to Authorize National Control List for Dual-Use Items

On June 19, 2024, the Danish government issued Decree No. 641, amending the Export Control Act (Decree No. 635), authorizing the Minister of Business to establish a national control list for certain dual-use items not covered by EU regulations, including quantum computers and semiconductor/microchip production equipment, with new penalties for violations effective July 1, 2024.
