India Amends SCOMET List under GAICT to Expand Dual-Use Items, Software and Technology Scope

India's Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued Notification No. 26/2024-2025, amending Appendix 10M of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 to expand the scope of dual-use items, software, and technology covered under the Global Authorization for Intra-Company Transfers (GAICT) for SCOMET items, simplifying export and re-export procedures among companies in listed countries.
