根据《中华人民共和国货物进出口管理条例》和《货物自动进口许可管理办法》的规定，自2005年3月1日起，对铁矿砂实行自动进口许可管理(列入自动进口许可管理货物目录三，见商务部、海关总署令2004年第26号附件一)。铁矿砂商品编号包括：2601110000、2601120000、2601200000。凡铁矿砂进口企业，须按《货物自动进口许可管理办法》和有关规定，办理自动进口许可手续。海关凭商务部门发证机构签发的《自动进口许可证》办理进口铁矿砂的报关验放手续。 二○○五年二月二十一日 (信息来源：商务部外贸司)
