受南海热带低压影响，5月31日-6月2日我市将有暴雨到大暴雨，局部特大暴雨，并伴有7-9级阵风，全市平均降雨量150-250毫米，局部350毫米，最大小时雨强60-100毫米，最强降雨时段为31日夜间-6月1日。 鉴于南海热带低压发展趋势及对我市影响，根据《汕尾市防汛防旱防风防冻应急预案》，市防汛防旱防风指挥部决定于5月31日14时启动防汛Ⅳ级应急响应。各地各有关部门要加强监测预报预警和会商研判，及时启动应急响应，扎实做好防风防汛各项工作，全力以赴确保人民群众生命财产安全，最大程度降低灾害损失。 汕尾市防汛防旱防风指挥部 2024年5月31日
