Vice Minister Zhang Guangjun met with Secretary-General Amanuddin Hashim on the sidelines of the first Belt and Road Science and Technology Exchange Conference and the first Belt and Road Ministerial Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation. Both sides reviewed progress in China-Malaysia S&T cooperation under the Belt and Road framework and agreed to hold the third meeting of the China-Malaysia Joint Committee on S&T Cooperation in 2024.

2023年11月5日，科技部副部长张广军在重庆会见了来华参加首届“一带一路”科技交流大会及首届“一带一路”科技创新部长会议的马来西亚科技创新部秘书长阿曼努丁·哈希姆。<br>
双方共同回顾了在“一带一路”科技创新行动计划框架下中马科技创新合作进展，表达了继续共同推进“一带一路”科技创新合作的意愿。双方一致同意将办好2024年在华召开的中马政府间科技合作联委会第3次会议，为两国建交50周年献礼。双方将继续大力拓展科技人文交流合作，支持双方科研人员在共同感兴趣的领域开展研发合作。<br>
中国科学技术交流中心主任高翔、国际合作司副司长孙键等参加会见。<br>
