Shanghai Municipal People's Government Approval on the Establishment of the 'Shanghai 2000 Coordinate System'

This document approves the establishment and implementation of the 'Shanghai 2000 Coordinate System' as the sole legally recognized, relatively independent plane coordinate system within Shanghai's administrative region, and instructs the relevant bureau to apply to the Ministry of Natural Resources and manage the transition from the old system.
