深圳铁路部门表示，元旦假期首日（1月1日）深圳铁路将迎来客流高峰，当天预计发送旅客40.2万人次，其中，深圳北站预计发送旅客29.4万人次。 元旦期间，铁路部门将在启用高峰线运行图的基础上，加大对热门方向的运力投放，计划增开深圳至长沙、南宁、赣州、厦门、广州等方向旅客列车超200列，其中，增开100余列夜间高铁；组织超20余列旅客列车重联运行，全力满足旅客出行需要。元旦假期，深圳站首次开行直达茂名南、湛江北站的高铁列车。（来源：深圳特区报）
