东涌红树林湿地园项目位于南澳办事处东涌社区，总面积约49.43公顷。项目以红树林保护为重点，集生态教育、文脉传承与户外休闲旅游为一体，打造具有大鹏特色的生态文明型湿地。2024年10月，大鹏新区发展和财政局充分发挥财政监督职能，完成该项目建安费竣工结算评审工作。 该项目由新区建筑工务署负责建设，概算批复总投资9682万元，主要建设内容包括水生态修复、地形整理、绿化种植、市政景观及配套设施建设等。项目由中国市政工程西北设计研究院有限公司单位负责设计，深圳市建工建设集团有限公司负责施工。项目于2019年12月开工，2022年6月通过竣工验收。
