规范使用防腐剂不但对人体无害，还可能有效抑制微生物的生长繁殖，降低食品安全风险。相反，市面上一些号称“纯手工制作、不添加任何防腐剂”的私房食品才是真的可怕，容易在制作、运输等过程中受到微生物污染。 还有一些高糖、高盐等食品本身就不受微生物欢迎，无需添加防腐剂，但却不乏个别商家特意把“不含任何防腐剂”作为卖点宣传，抬高物价。
