近日，深惠城际大鹏支线项目五工区首台盾构机顺利始发，标志着深惠城际大鹏支线葵涌站至大鹏站区间正式进入盾构施工阶段。 葵涌站至大鹏站盾构区间位于大鹏新区，区间由葵涌站大里程引出，沿坪葵路、坪西路南行，下穿盐坝高速葵涌西互通式立交桥向东南方，并行雷公山隧道后掘进到达矿山法分界点后进行洞内接收，线路全长约1.6公里。区间左右线均采用直径为9.13米的，具有泥水辅助功能的土压平衡盾构机掘进施工。 深惠城际大鹏支线全线起自龙岗区龙城站，途经龙岗、坪山，止于大鹏新区新大站，线路全长约39.40公里。采用城际铁路制式，设计时速160公里\/小时。共设龙城站、坪山站、燕子湖站、葵涌站、大鹏站、新大站6座车站和新大车辆基地，预计2026年建成通车。（来源：深圳特区报）
