铁路部门表示，今年“五一”假期铁路运输期为4月29日至5月6日，共计8天。深圳铁路预计到发旅客超520万人次，日均65万人次；深圳北站预计到发旅客超360万人次，日均45万人次。预计离深客流最高峰在5月1日，深圳铁路发送旅客46万人次，深圳北站发送旅客30万人次。 为了满足旅客出行需求，深圳铁路在“五一”假期加开旅客列车近600趟，主要覆盖省内广州、汕尾、潮汕和湖南、广西等旅游、探亲热门方向，当中也包括了夜间高铁，为旅客提供更多的出行选择。此外，针对旅游热门地，深圳东站还加开了往返海口的直达列车。（来源：深圳晚报）
