2023年8月16日，新区发展和财政局组织专家开展《大鹏社区党群服务中心改造工程项目建议书》评审工作，邀请建筑及造价等方面的三位专家组成专家组对项目进行评审。 项目建议书提出，大鹏社区党群服务中心建成于1997年，现状存在楼地面陈旧、墙面腻子脱落、各功能室不满足居民服务需求等问题，急需对该大楼进行装饰装修改造，改造面积约2428平方米。新区发展和财政局及专家组向项目建设单位及编制单位充分了解基本情况后，认为项目提出的建设内容基本合理，但应在后续工作中补充完善部分建设内容。 党群服务中心是基层党组织开展活动的基本阵地，是社区基层党组织联系群众的基础平台。本项目的实施有利于加强党的基层组织建设，改善周边居民的社区活动环境，打造“宜居、宜业、宜游、宜学、宜养”的社区生活圈。
