在深江铁路珠江口隧道东莞虎门段，中铁十四局施工人员在检查已拼装管片 深（深圳）江（江门）铁路横穿珠江的珠江口隧道由两台直径超13米的巨型盾构机从东莞虎门和广州南沙两端分别盾构掘进，目前隧道盾构段已掘进过半，珠江口隧道全长13.69公里，海底最大埋深达115米。 深江铁路建成通车后将把深圳、东莞、广州、中山、江门这五座大湾区城市更紧密连接在一起，实现深圳前海自贸区与广州南沙自贸区半小时高铁互联互通，助力打造“轨道上的大湾区”。（来源：深圳特区报）
